The classic year for Noah’s Flood based on the Masoretic Text (which is the leading source for our Bibles today) is 2,348 BC. The Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible, written as early as the third century BC) and some other ancient texts place the Flood earlier, between about 3,158 BC and 3,298 BC.
